- The field will be set up like a modified over-the-line tournament.
- There will be no base runners.
- The outfield [fences] will range from 80 feet to 110 feet from home plate.
- The pitching distance is forty (40) feet from the rubber to the strike zone.
- The target strike zone will be eighteen (18) inches wide by twenty-five (27) inches high/long and will stand fifteen (15) inches off the ground. The target will be three (3) feet behind the back point of home plate. A pitch that hits the border or within the target strike zone is called a strike.
- The official ball of the BJB Tournament will be the white, baseball size Wiffle® ball. A ball will be declared illegal for use if it has a crack greater than one-quarter (1/4) inch and will be removed from the game. Only one ball will be allowed on the field during a game. Each pitcher will keep possession of his ball. The ball may not be scuffed and no foreign matter maybe added to the ball.
- The bat must be the official "yellow Wiffle®" ball bat. It must be rounded on all sides, cannot exceed thirty-two (32) inches in length, and one and one quarter (1 1/4) inches in diameter. The bat can not have tape, pine tar, or any other substance on it. Tournament staff reserves the right to inspect and declare any bat illegal.
- Baseball gloves/mitts are not allowed. Only batters may wear batting gloves.
Coolers and grills are prohibited. Food and refreshments will be provided by Subway and Deep River Snacks.
