Strike zone is determined by a target 18"X27" in size and 15" above the ground. A pitch that hits the border or within the target is called a strike. |

A ball reaching the ground on or past the singles line is a single, landing on or past the doubles line in the air is a double, landing on or past the triple line in the air is a triple, and landing over the home run tape is a home run. |

The batting order must include everyone on the team and remain constant all game. |

A ten (10) run mercy rule is in effect after the third (3rd) inning. |

This is not a "fast pitch" Wiffle® ball tournament. Pitches will be limited to 38 mph. This is in hopes of increased scoring and enjoyment by all participants. |

A pitcher will pitch from the designated mound. |

Fielders are allowed one (1) step in from the singles line to field a ground ball. Ground balls must be fielded without any bobbling to be an out, or it is ruled a single. A ground ball not reaching the singles line nor within one (1) step reach is a foul ball. Fly balls may be bobbled, but must be caught before contacting the ground to be an out. |

Maximum of three (3) fielders, including pitcher. Fielders may play anywhere in fair territory no closer than the singles line to home plate. |

Fielding Substitutions only between innings (unless b/c of injury). |

On a ground out, if there is a ground out, if there is a double play (force) situation, the fielder can attempt to throw and hit the strike zone in the air for a double play. If successful, the batter and runner on first (1st) are out. If unsuccessful, only the batter is out. In both cases, all other runners hold. The attempt must be made immediately after the ball has been clearly fielded cleanly. |

If there is a runner on third (3rd) base and the batter hits a fly ball, the batting team can call out "tag" while the ball is still in the air. After the fielder has made the catch, he may immediately throw to hit any part of the strike zone or support, on the fly, bounce, or roll, to get the runner out at home. If Successful, the runner on third (3rd) is out. Otherwise, the runner tags and scores. In both cases, all other runners hold. If the batting team does not yell "tag", no play can be made. |

No altering balls or bats. Intentionally-scuffed balls are strictly prohibited. Balls found in such condition will be confiscated at the staff's discretion. Team's found attempting to use or create an intentionally scuffed ball is subject to forfeit. |

Teams more than fifteen (15) minutes late to arrive at the field to play, following the announcement of the game, are subject to forfeit. |

BJB tournament staff has the final decision on all matters. Arguing with tournament staff is grounds for forfeit and ejection from the tournament. |

Use of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. |

Coolers and grills are prohibited. Food and refreshments will be provided by Subway and Deep River Snacks.
